The loop

Raid their crib, guard yours. Three per island, one hunter. Smash a crib and its owner stops respawning.

No crib, no respawn

Three squads, three islands, one crib each. You attack by heading at someone else’s — out around the outer ring, or straight through the hub in the middle, which is faster and much more dangerous.

The sting is that losing your crib doesn’t just cost you points. It costs you the ability to come back. So a raid on your base is never just a raid; it’s a question about whether you can afford to be away from home.
